* ECB Directives for Young Fast Bowlers as appropriate to Mr Trophies East Lindsey Cricket League Matches:

If Under 19 - No more than 7 overs per spell.

If Under 17 - No more than 6 overs per spell.

If Under 15 - No more than 5 overs per spell.

If Under 13 - No more than 4 overs per spell and limited to a total of 8 overs in match.

I confirm and undertake on behalf of ___________________ Cricket Club (the “Club”) that: (□ Please tick as appropriate)

Either – (a) There are no players under eighteen years of age in today’s team □

Or – (b) In line with Club policy, all players under eighteen years of age in today’s team will wear a helmet

with a faceguard when batting or when standing up to the stumps when keeping wicket □

Or – (c) The Club has received, in writing, a parental consent form allowing those players in today’s team holding such consent, as shown above, to bat or to stand up to the stumps when keeping wicket without wearing a helmet, and the Club accepts responsibility for accepting this consent in line with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) safety guidance □

And – The ECB Fast Bowling Directives apply to the players in today’s team as shown above.

I confirm that I am an authorised signatory on behalf of the Club and that I have read and understood the ECB safety guidance and the ECB Fast Bowling Directives.

I agree that prior to the toss I have discussed with the Umpires the policy adopted by this Club with regard to the wearing of helmets and the age group of the young players taking part in the match.

The Club hereby agree to indemnify the Umpires from and against all actions, costs, claims and demands (including reasonable legal fees) and any other damages suffered or incurred arising from any confirmation contained in this document relating to the provision of parental consent forms being incorrect.
